2010 Coaching & Training
Steve Lubcke will continue at the Tanunda Football Club in the A Grade and club coaching position. Having taken the A’s to back to back premierships in 2008 & 2009, Lubcke has the job of making it 3 in a row in 2010. All reports are that a few other clubs have recruited well so this season will be will be much harder and we won't have things all our own way. We can assure all of our supporters and sponsors that the players have worked harder than ever during the off season and they are looking fitter, leaner and meaner than ever.
Bob Smart is also continuing on as reserves coach in 2010 and is keen to take his charges one game further and make the Grand Final after missing out in the preliminary final by less than a kick. With a few players returning to the A-grade, the reserves will have plenty of depth and there are quite a few lads coming up from the U17's who will benefit from Bob's wealth of coaching experience.
Tim Brooks will be taking the Senior Colts again in season 2010 and after a disappointing 09 season will have a point to prove this year. Numbers look good and there has been plenty of intensity on the training track, so a final four appearance is the target this year. There will be a few players down at CDFC playing in the SANFL U16 competition so when they return late in the first round we should be primed for an assault in the second round.
Administration
Our 2010 Administrative committee has remained similar to last year which is great for the stability of the club, Last year was a busy year for the near all-new committee with the new gym/office/stands building work plus the installation of 8 new lights which has significantly improved the oval lighting.
